Welcome to the web site of our church here in Harbor Oaks. As part of the City of Port Orange, Harbor Oaks is a great community that shares both residential and commercial properties, along US One, Ridgewood Avenue. Established as a mission church by First Baptist, Daytona in the early 1970's we at FBC of Harbor Oaks are here to meet the needs of those who would like to know and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We have Sunday School for all ages, with a nursery program during SS and Worship times. There are various groups to incorporate you into the life of the church. Our membership invites you to attend as our guest during regular service times, or to call or email any questions you may have about our beliefs, our services, and our ministry to the surrounding area.
God commands us to love Him with all our being, and to love others as well. We are committed to knowing Him, and learning from His Holy Word, the Bible. If you are inclined to attend a church where God is honored and His people demonstrate loving relationships with God and others, please come as our guest and see for yourself. We are a healthy and growing congregation comprised of all ages and all walks of life. You will feel comfortable here. But of greater importance, you will experience the presence of Almighty God in Worship and learn of Him in classes that are designed to fill in the gaps and instruct you of God's nature and love for all of His creation.
In the Bible we read, "I have come that you might have life, and have it abundantly (to the fullest)." God invites you to join His church family and ultimately to learn how you can have a life-changing relationship with the Living God.
We worship the God of the Old and New Testament Scriptures in the three persons of the Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Jesus told His disciples, "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you the Spirit of Truth." (John 14:16) And in John 14: 26 & 27 He said, "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you..." We believe the Holy Spirit is active and alive in our church.
